Shell Fuels and Lubricants – Better Performance, less Consumption

Fuels and lubricants are the lifeblood of your machinery. In order to make the most out of today's valuable agricultural high-tech machinery in terms of performance and service life, but also in terms of consumption and total cost of ownership, the right choice of consumables is paramount. In comparison to standard products, premium fuels and lubricants do have a major influence on these factors, both in terms of equipment reliability in peak season as well as overall business results. To investigate and quantify the effect of premium fuels and lubricants in off-road heavy-duty vehicles compared to standard products, the DLG Test Center Technology and Farm Inputs and Shell have designed a special series of DLG-PowerMix tests. The test results - 100 % cleaned up injectors, 5.6 % more pulling power and, as a combined fuel and lubricant benefit, 2.7 % fuel economy clearly show the advantages.
