The presentation on supply chain safety delves into risk prevention during food transportation. It will provide an in-depth examination of supply chain complexities, particularly focusing on the condition of transport containers, the critical nature of thorough cleaning processes, and the influence of previous cargo on food safety. 

The session will highlight the duty of manufacturers and logistics providers to ensure container cleanliness, outline transportation risks, and discuss various transport units like road tankers, containers, refrigerated trucks, and Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) for different substances. 

There are many new raw materials, products and processes coming onto the market in the field of plant proteins, cell culture and fermentation, but can we actually scale them up? A critical look at our current status and the opportunities that lie ahead.
